Anastasia + Smuk | URBAN Sessions

In December 2024, the band—consisting of former solo artist and frontman Anton Walter, guitarist Benjamin Jørgensen, bassist Johan Hestetræet, and drummer Mads Almosetoft—met in the mythical and legendary "Rock City" on Islands Brygge. In a worn-down rehearsal room on the second floor, the idea was finally put to the test after the band's unofficial formation at Roskilde Festival the previous summer. Their lyrics revolve around identity, heartbreak, the search for meaning in life, and youth. They don't shy away from the uncomfortable or shameful, offering a level of honesty that's increasingly rare to find. Their sound is raw and energetic, and they cite Blur, The Strokes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Barselona as some of their biggest musical influences.
