Mid Life Crisis: A Comedy Opera Recital w/opener Sparkle
Ten years ago, I did stand-up comedy for the very first time.
Almost ten years before that, I was studying opera, convinced that was how my story would unfold.
Life, however, had other plans.
Somewhere between singing in various languages, discovering I had Tourette Syndrome, finding stand-up comedy, and collecting an alarming number of strange and exciting experiences, the roadmap became... considerably less straightforward.
So, I've decided to stop pretending any of it has to make sense.
Mid Life Crisis is exactly what it sounds like: an evening of stand-up comedy, operatic singing, stories from an ever evolving career, and perhaps a little juggling.
Why juggling?
Because if you're going to have a midlife crisis, you may as well make it an weird and entertaining one.
This is a celebration of ten years in comedy, the musical path that almost was, and the unexpected one that turned out to be.
