Daníel Hjálmtýsson - Songs For The Sun

On the afternoon of August 12th, a spectacular event occurs when a total solar eclipse becomes visible from Iceland for the first time since 1954. It won´t happen again until sometime after I´m gone.

With a backdrop of the gods we have decided to invite travelers and homegrowns alike to gather outside on our street next to our home for a free concert.

We will be kicking things off from a stage in our backyard at 4:45PM and will play in the darkness that will engulve the surrounding nature and neighborhoods at 5:44PM.

We will be playing some brand new songs never heard before along with old songs and some favourites to create an atmosphere we surely will never experience again

As our new album approaches, we feel this is the perfect occasion to give a sneak peek and sing to the sun.
