Combined, they grossed over $400 million in 2017
with 5.2 million people attending exactly 2,402 shows
If Cirque du Soleil's eight acts would be counted as one; they'd be the highest grossing act of 2017 – and by a lot.
It can be easy to forget in the live industries, that it's not just concerts people buy tickets to. It's also theatre, comedy, sports, ice-rink performances (Disney on Ice FTW) and circus performances à la Cirque du Soleil.
In 2017, Cirque du Soleil took up eight spots on the list and comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock took up two spots.
That means that 1 in 10 of the top touring acts of 2017 was not in live music.

So we're going with 'Yes' on this one. Seems like everything came up Soleil in 2017.
